The Dining Hall (seating capacity 120) Centrally located in camp, the Dining Hall is close to the Crestview living quarters and is only a short walk from Cedar Lodge, Mountain View, and Apple Orchard. The Dining Hall seats 120 people and is cooled in the summer by ceiling fans and mountain breezes, and is warmed in the winter with a cheerful fire and hot chocolate. Adjacent to the Dining Hall is our redwood deck with a full view of nearby Fresno Dome. This is an ideal spot for times of fellowship or quiet reflection. Meals are prepared only by our staff.     The Fireside Room in Cedar Lodge (seating capacity 70) Sloped ceilings and a stone fireplace combine to give this room a comfortable personality. An adjoining kitchenette is available for beverages and snacks to better serve our guests. The Upper Room in Cedar Lodge (seating capacity 12) An intimate space, this room is ideal for small seminars or devotional & quiet times.   The Mountain View Lounge (seating capacity 80) Nestled in the trees near the south side of our small lake, this lounge seats up to eighty people. With stone fireplace, piano, and natural setting, this room provides a rustic and homey atmosphere. It can also double as a great room for a children's program, or act as a coffee house with a roaring fire. A small kitchenette is available for snacks and beverages.   The Apple Orchard Lounge (seating capacity 25) Set amongst the apple and pear trees in our most historic area of camp, the Apple Orchard Lounge provides a small group of up to twenty-five people with a comfortable room suitable for seminars or meetings. Nature lovers will appreciate the nearby Gethsemane Trail and the variety of trees in the area. The Hillhouse (seating capacity 25) The Hillhouse is a favorite meeting place for smaller groups of twenty-five people or less. It is located near the Crestview area and close to the Dining Hall. Vespers (seating capacity 100) The Vespers meeting area is an outdoor sanctuary which seats about 100 people. The seats are comfortable and the canopy of evergreens provides shade. One of the most beautiful areas of camp, Vespers has an unobstructed view of the lake and Fresno Dome. There is a stage and podium in front with full sound system capability. Crestview Amphitheater (seating capacity 250) This is a great place for singing, speaking and worshipping with groups of up to 250 people. Depending on the weather, the area's audio-visual capabilities are available for use. Located above the Dining Hall, this amphitheater is hidden among giant evergreens and provides a wonderful setting for worship and reflection beneath the stars. |
