Calvin Crest is partnered with Living Waters for the World as a Clean Water U training center. A Clean Water U training will be offered at Calvin Crest October 4-8, 2009.
Living Waters for the World trains and equips mission teams to share the gift of clean, sustainable water with communities in need. Living Water for the World trains mission teams and individuals through Clean Water U (CWU). CWU training consists of three separate workshops conducted over a 5-day period. Mission teams are encouraged to send one team member to each training workshop: 101-Partnership Development, Field Testing & Team Leadership, 102-Health, Hygiene & Spiritual Education and 103-Installation, Operation & Maintenance. The hands on training is designed to equip mission teams with the skills necessary to form partnerships with communities in need of clean water, equip local leaders to lead ongoing health, hygiene and spiritual education and install the clean water system. The clean water system is easy to maintain and operate. Living Waters for the World mission teams have installed over 300 clean water systems in 20 countries.
