ABOUT CALVIN CREST... Calvin Crest, a 340-acre camps and conference center, is located in the Sierra Nevada midway between the southern border of Yosemite National Park and Bass Lake at an elevation of 5,000 feet. It is operated jointly by the Presbyteries of San Joaquin and Stockton and has been in operation since 1955. The purpose of Calvin Crest camps and conferences is "To serve as a witness to the love of Jesus Christ and to guide persons to Him, so that they may live and grow as His disciples through the fellowship of the Church." The Calvin Crest program provides for both small and large group experiences directed and supervised by trained staff persons and church leaders. Instruction and activities are conducted in the context of caring and creative relationships. Summer staff members minister in God's marvelous creation encouraging all who participate in Calvin Crest programs to pursue a relationship with Jesus as Lord and Savior.
