Men and women are invited to enter the Silence.

Times come when we yearn for more of God than our schedules will allow. We are tired, we are crushed, we are crowded by friends and acquaintances, commitments and obligations. The life of grace is abounding, but we are too busy for it! Even good obligations begin to hem us in. Madeleine L’Engle writes, “Every so often I need OUT; something will throw me into total disproportion, and I have to get away from everybody-away from all those people I love most in the world – in order to gain a sense of proportion.” -Emilie Griffin

What To Expect

Our experienced ED, Tiffany Staman, will guide you through a transformative journey of meeting Jesus through silence and solitude.

Come together with other men and women the first weekend of Advent to spend a weekend in silence. You will not regret carving out this time to listen to God’s voice, experience His love, and move into the rest of the season refreshed and with renewed perspective. A variety of spiritual practices and engaging stations will be provided to guide you throughout the weekend. No experience necessary!

Tiffany Staman

Tiffany attended her first Advent Retreat in 2005, and she was instantly hooked. As a driven overachiever who dove headfirst into the holidays with all kinds of unrealistic expectations of herself and others, this retreat became a yearly rhythm to enter into the Advent season differently... intentionally... prayerfully. For more than 20 years, she has facilitated Advent Retreats for men and women to help them enter this holy season centered on and listening to Jesus.

Registration will be due by November 28, 2024. Registration can be completed online in a few simple steps! If you have questions or would like to register over the phone, please call us at 559.772.4040.

Packing List

We will send a packing list to all guests upon registration.

Pricing

Rates are per person and include two nights lodging, five meals, and retreat materials. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required with registration per camper. All non-refundable deposits are applied toward the total tuition due. Final payment is due Friday, November 28, 2024. Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations made within two weeks of event start date. Campership applications are available upon request.
